Towergate Financial had to ensure that their technology strategy addressed the constraints imposed by the industry and yet formed the basis for competitive differentiation. It had to deliver industry leading capability and support the business need for cost efficiency and effectiveness.

How We Helped

Enterprise Blueprints absorbed the technology vision and strategy that Towergate Financial had in mind, and helped convert it into a realisable architecture and implementation plan. We aligned the capabilities provided by the chosen software products with the business architecture helping ensure that TF made the most effective use of technology. EB also engaged with Towergate's chosen technology implementation partner, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to specify the business and technology requirements.

Acting as the CTO, Enterprise Blueprints provided the technology leadership required in the definition of the business and technical architectures, and oversaw the design and delivery of technology capability spanning operational systems and infrastructure as well as peripheral systems for HR, Payroll and Financial management.

Our expertise in technology, and knowledge of Wealth Management and the Independent Financial Adviser business domains helped ensure that TCS had the support required to successfully deliver their remit as the system integrator.

Outcomes Achieved

Enterprise Blueprints have helped deliver a flexible and scalable solution into User Acceptance Testing within 7 months. The technology estate we have defined promises to provide industry leading capability for customer and wealth management as well as robust and efficient back office automation addressing compliance, commissions, adviser support and new business processing.

Expected to go into production shortly, an 'industry first' integration of Focus 360 and Intelliflo, Towergate Financial's advisers will have an easy to use and powerful tool that helps them increase the quality of advice and service they are able to provide their clients.

Through an innovative mechanism for integration with Assureweb, Towergate will be able to harness the best of electronic 'quote and apply' functionality in the industry, providing cost efficiency in operations.

In less than a year, Towergate Financial have reached the final stages of implementing the technology capability required to realise their business vision.
